My interest in movies began with the Oscars, but has since blossomed into a love for international cinema. Since embarking on my lifelong quest to watch more diverse and varied movies, my perspective on movies has since evolved, from one of mere entertainment to a medium that connects people from different contexts over a shared bonding experience. My goal as a critic is to champion undervalued cinema from unheard voices, and to spread this infectious love that cinema has since inspired me with.
